For the past thirteen years I have had the privilege of capturing people's deeply special moments. With a background in photojournalism and documentary storytelling, family photography, events and weddings have always been a natural fit. As a Sony Artisan of Imagery, I am passionate about telling your unique and personal story through each smile, laugh and joyous moment. My goal is always to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and capture beautiful images. Moving to St John in the USVI, better known here as Love City, has brought so much happiness to my family. We are constantly reminded of the love we have for each other and our island community. It would be a pleasure to photograph your story creating images you will treasure for a lifetime! 

Nancy

Nancy Borowick is an internationally renowned photographer, author, teacher and speaker, bringing her personal story to universities, hospitals, oncology units and community groups globally. 

Nancy is a Sony Artisan of Imagery and proud member of the Sony Alpha Female community. She is a graduate of the International Center of Photography and has exhibited her work in over 100 cities. Working regularly with the New York Times since 2013, Nancy has told the intimate stories of people and places from every corner of the globe winning her major accolades and awards, such as World Press Photo, Pictures of the Year International, The Arnold Newman Prize and most recently the Humanitarian Award from the organization Women That Soar for her photography and recent monograph, The Family Imprint. In 2019, Nancy was invited to become a Kickstarter Thought Leader. 

Over the last decade, Nancy has narrowed the focus of her work, telling stories of health, struggle and personal relationships, using compassion, humility and trust as tools to connect with and explore the lives of her subjects. 

 Her work has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines, including National Geographic, Time Magazine, CNN, PDN, O the Oprah Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Audubon Magazine, AARP, The Washington Post and Glamour Magazine. 

Nancy currently resides on the island of St. John, USVI with her husband, two sons and 13-year-old dog named Einstein.
